Kids learn skating fundamentals with certified instructors for 2 hours daily, plus day camp games, crafts, swimming. Requires skates and CSA helmet.
Glide into the summer with YMCA Skating Camps. Campers will participate in a learn to skate lesson where they will practice the fundamentals of skating. Skate camps spend 2 hours a day with a certified instructor both on and off the ice, as well as participate in regular day camp games, crafts and activities throughout the day. Mitts/gloves, skates (hockey or figure), and a CSA-approved hockey helmet with face cage is required. Winter jacket and snow pants are recommended.
