If you run a kids’ thing in Calgary

Let’s talk about how we’d work together.

Calgary Playground is small on purpose. One parent, one list, a Thursday email that goes to a few hundred local families and grows every week. I’m going to be honest — I only work with places I’d actually send my own kid. If that’s you, there are three ways we can do this.

Pinned

Featured listing

$49 / month

Your place pinned at the top of its category with a blurb I write with you, not at you. You also get priority when I’m building the Thursday list.

  • Pinned to the top of your category page
  • A ~60-word blurb we write together
  • Priority look for the Thursday list
  • Month-to-month. Stop any time.

  • Badged as a featured partner
  • Runs through the full season
  • Best fit: camps, classes, venues

Before you ask

The stuff you’re probably wondering.

How many people actually come here?
Small and growing. I’m not going to pretend otherwise. When I reply to your email I’ll share the real number for the last 30 days — today it lives in the low hundreds of Calgary-local visits a week. I don’t buy traffic and I don’t pad the site with junk pages.
What counts as a kids’ business?
Anything a Calgary parent would take their kid to on a Saturday. Music classes, indoor play, birthday rooms, day camps, museums, pools, family-friendly restaurants, outdoor programs, skating lessons. If you’re not sure, just ask.
Where’s the line between editorial and paid?
Featured listings get a “Featured” chip. Sponsor placements say “Presented.” Paid items never sit above the picks I’d make for my own kid, and I’ll turn down anything I wouldn’t. That’s the whole point of running this.
How do I stop?
Featured listings are month-to-month. Reply to any email and I stop the next charge. Seasonal campaigns end with the season. No annual lock-in, no cancel-through-a-form maze.

Say hi

Tell me a bit about what you run.

This comes straight to my inbox. I reply within two business days, often the same evening after kid bedtime.

Goes straight to me. Never shared, never sold.
